Vinyl is back in style, and I’ve got a closetful of LPs

As an avid collector of LPs in the 60s, 70s, and sometimes later, I sold hundreds at a record show around 1992.  There were around 400 that I wasn’t willing to let go of, however.  A couple decades later I thought they’d end up as recycled vinyl and cardboard.  However, analog is back!  Local music stores are seeking used LPs to satisfy demand.  So after briefly considering selling them without ripping (digitizing to music files) due to the large collection of digital music I have collected and which continues to grow — I gave in to capture some special albums to a hard drive.  I’d done this previously around 2001, but had to survey the current state of software and here’s what I came up with:
